Chepstow holds some of the most high class National Hunt fixtures as well as it’s own busy Flat program from within the grounds of the historic, beautiful and practically untouched Piercefield Park. The two mile long circuit is a real challenge for all but the toughest of racers especially in soft ground conditions which makes the jump fixtures and even greater test of stamina. The feature race for Chepstow is the Coral Welsh National which is held over the Christmas holiday period and features a large number of some of the best staying chasers in the sport.
