Kelso is most well known for its 600m uphill race course, which tends to favour fast horses and sprinters. Like the place (half a mile in the sky), this track also has wonderful scenery and friendly atmosphere, as well as being completely unique in having an 18-hole golf course right in the centre of the grounds.

Admission is £18.00 for Members with a special price of £15.00 midweek. Tattersalls pay £10.00 and admission is free for children under 16 years.

All inclusive packages can be arranged for £24.00. Public bars and fast food outlets are also available around the course. Ramps provide wheelchair access to most parts of the course including the Tattersalls and Members' Enclosures, where a more elevated viewing position is provided. Corporate Hospitality is available for up to 40 guests, which includes use of a private suite, entrance badges, racecards and a bar facility. There are also a variety of sponsorship packages on offer, depending on the size of the contribution. The course is located one mile north of Kelso on the B6461 Ednam Road.
Kelso is off the A698 by the A68 & A7 from Edinburgh and the A699 from the West. Car and coach parking are free of charge. Rail travellers are advised to aim for Berwick-on-Tweed Station is 22 miles from the course however there is no connecting bus service to the course. A landing pad is available for helicopters but only with prior permission. Edinburgh Airport is a one hour car journey to the course.
