There are range of admittance prices available, ranging from £5.00 for the Centre course, through to £15.00 for the members area, with Tattersalls being £10.00. Children under 16 years are admitted free of charge.
Taking advantage of the annual membership packages is a way to enjoy your racing all year round. Single member can join for £130.00, and joint membership is £180.00.

There is a myriad of modern bars, refreshment areas and eateries scattered throughout the venue. For an extra treat, on Sundays and Friday evening’s crèche facilities are available to help you enjoy some time without the children. There is free admittance to children under the age of 16.
There are ample facilities for the Disabled; including toilets and lift facilities for easy wheelchair access.

There is a range of facilities that are available for groups of up to 150 people. Ranging from 24 guests in the Dalby stand and private boxes, marquees with private lawns for up to 50 guests and the Entertainment suite will cater for 150 people.
Whether it in race days or not there are two banqueting suites located near the paddock section that will cater for all your conferencing needs.

Set in Pontefract Park, the racecourse is close to Castleford just off the A1. The main entrance is located half a mile from the J32. There are a number of motorways that adjoin the M62 for easy access by road, including: A1, M1 and M18. Ample, almost unlimited free parking is available. A spot can also be reserved for a small annual fee. Helicopter landing facilities by prior arrangement for those travelling by air. However if you are coming via public transport, Tanshelf station is located right next door to the course and Baghill station is just little over a mile away.
